Spoofed Emails
These mails claim to come from Standard Bank, and the email address seems to be legitimate, but is most likely a "phishing" attempt.

SAIX Network Notice Update
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reference ID : STT000000004335
Failure Type : Information
Problem Description : Ammendments Saix SMTP Mail
Impact : Saix SMTP Mail Usage
Time Down : 24 Oct, 2005 at 00:00:00 (SAT)
Time Up : None
Sites : Saix SMTP
Services Affected : Saix SMTP
Update Description : Ammendments to the SAIX SMTP Mail Usage Policy
Policy Ratelimiting will be implemented on the SAIX SMTP servers to limit and manage the inflow of email relay traffic. This will be
phased in from 24 October 2005 and the following restrictions will apply:
- Limit the number of messages to less than 360 per hour. (This limit counts all the recipient addresses as a message, thus a message with 10 recipients will count as 10 messages).
- Limit the total message volume to 250 Mega Bytes per hour.
- When one of the above limits is exceeded, a block will be applied to the offending source address for the remainder of the hour.
The amended policy is required to curb the small percentage of users sending in excess of 9600 mails per day.

Virus/Spam Spoofed Emails
If you receive an email that claims to come from Kingsley or your own domain with Kingsley, please delete it immediately (or forward it to our support as an attachment), as the likelihood is it either contains something malicious that has yet to be added to anti-virus scanners and content filters, or it links to something similar.
In general, you should never open any mail that you did not expect or of which the sender is unknown to you.
Kingsley technologies will NEVER send you a mail regarding account cancellation that asks you to click on a link or open an attachment. Furthermore, all such emails would only originate from ACCOUNTS _AT_ KINGSLEY _DOT_ CO _DOT_ ZA. If any mail arrives from any other address claiming to have information regarding your account or cancellation, it is a spoofed email.
Please refer to the following historical articles regarding this menace:
